The Christian Dependency Ministry is committed to reach out to all individuals who have been disadvantaged as a result of substance abuse.

Members of the CDM provide a voluntary service and aim to provide preventative, motivational and supportive programs to the substance dependents and their families by means of thorough training and empowerment.

Membership

Membership Of The CDM is open to the following persons:

  1. Rehabilitated persons.
  2. Persons who are still abusing alcohol or drugs.
  3. Family, children and spouses of the drug dependent.
  4. Friends.
  5. Employers
  6. Church leaders, elders, deacons etc.
  7. Social workers.
  8. Anyone who wishes to help the drug dependant in one way or another.

The organisation affiliates with Toevlug Centre for Prevention, Treatment and Aftercare and receives regular training sessions from the Coordinator for Prevention and Aftercare.

Information with regard to a large variety of topics is currently available from the head office in Worcester. We apologise for the fact that most of the booklets are only available in Afrikaans and English.
